Tutorial: Modern Hologram Shader in Cycles

Jonathan Lampel shows you how to set up a Cycles shader that turns your Blender models into modern day holograms.

Holograms can be useful in various places, from Sci-Fi-movies to music videos to visualizations of gadgets and gear. During the 90ies and 2000s the usual hologram had a very over-saturated look to it. Nowadays, especially with the advent of films like "Prometheus", holograms are more light in their color scheme. Jonathan Lampel created a Cycles shader that turns your Blender models into one of those modern holograms. Follow him setting up the shader in his new tutorial:
